Hiring: Mathematics Coach (Advanced Mentor Role)
Location: Shreeji Education Zone (SEZ), Rajkot
At SEZ, Maths is not taught traditionally.
We don’t want a teacher who just solves sums on the board.
We are looking for a Maths Coach who can train students to think, analyze, and solve independently.
What This Role Actually Means
A Maths Coach at SEZ is:
- Not someone who just explains formulas
- But someone who builds problem-solving ability in students
Your goal is to make students:
Understand concepts deeply
Break problems logically
Practice with direction
Improve through analysis
Your Core Responsibilities
1. Concept & Problem-Solving System Design
- Break down chapters into:
- Concepts → Examples → Practice → Mastery
- Design structured learning paths for each student
- Focus on why + how, not just answers
2. Student Analysis (Very Important)
- Identify student issues like:
- Weak concepts (e.g., algebra basics weak)
- Calculation errors
- Lack of practice
- Fear of Maths
- Track performance through:
- Tests
- Work completion
- Mistake patterns
3. Doubt Solving (Smart Way)
- Do NOT just solve questions
- Guide students to:
- Think step-by-step
- Identify approach
- Learn method
4. Practice & Work Management
- Assign targeted practice:
- Weak areas → more practice
- Strong areas → advanced questions
- Use structured systems to track:
- Pending work
- Completed work
- Accuracy level
5. Strong Subject Knowledge
You must be confident in:
- Core Maths (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, etc.)
- Board patterns (CBSE, ICSE, GSEB, Cambridge, etc.)
- Different types of questions:
- Concept-based
- Application-based
- Exam-oriented
6. AI & Smart Resource Usage
- Use AI tools to:
- Generate questions
- Explain concepts in different ways
- Create practice sets
- Find best materials:
- PYQs (Previous Year Questions)
- Reference books
- Online resources
7. System-Based Teaching Approach
- Work with dashboards and tracking tools
- Help students follow a structured learning system
- Continuously improve the system based on results
