Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Site Engineer to oversee and manage construction site activities. The candidate will play a crucial role in planning, execution, and supervision to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
The Site Engineer will act as a key bridge between Architects, Contractors, and BuildDeli, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth project execution
- Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage effectively
- Ensure work is executed as per drawings and specifications
2. Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and stakeholders
- Ensure timely progress and milestone completion
3. Quality Control
- Ensure construction meets required quality standards and codes
- Conduct site inspections and material checks
4. Health & Safety Compliance
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines on-site
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards
5. Problem Solving
- Address on-site challenges such as delays or design issues
- Collaborate with teams to implement effective solutions
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records
- Track expenses and support budget management
7. Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and authorities
- Provide regular updates to clients and project managers
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Site Engineer
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and engineering principles
- Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD (preferred)
- Excellent planning, coordination, and multitasking ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take quick decisions and adapt to changes
- High attention to detail in quality and measurements
- Team management and leadership skills
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Negotiable)
- Transportation Allowance: ₹3,000 per month (Negotiable)
- Incentive: ₹10,000 per project completion
