We're looking for someone to help us build an organisation, not just fill positions.
At EduTap, we don't see recruitment as an HR process.
We see it as one of the most important responsibilities in shaping the culture of an organisation.
Every person we welcome changes the team forever.
Which is why we believe recruitment is not about screening resumes or meeting hiring targets.
It is about deeply understanding people.
Listening before judging.
Looking beyond technical skills.
Understanding values, orientation and intent.
Creating an interview experience where every candidate, whether selected or not, feels respected, heard and valued.
We're looking for someone who resonates with this way of thinking.
What you'll do?
* Lead hiring across different teams at EduTap.
* Design thoughtful hiring processes.
* Identify people who align with our purpose and values.
* Continuously improve the candidate experience.
* Help preserve and strengthen the culture we are trying to build.
Experience in recruitment is certainly important.
But even more important is how you see people.
A small request before you apply
Please don't send only your resume.
Instead, we'd love to understand how you think and how you've worked with people in real life.
Please include the following along with your application.
1. Tell us about one candidate you interviewed but chose not to hire.
Without revealing their identity, tell us:
What initially made you excited about the candidate?
What made you decide not to proceed?
Looking back today, do you still feel it was the right decision? Why?
2. Tell us about one hiring decision that changed the way you think about recruitment.
It could be:
Someone you hired who exceeded every expectation.
Someone you hired who didn't work out.
Someone you rejected and later realised you shouldn't have.
We're not evaluating whether the decision was right or wrong.
We're interested in what you learned about people.
3. Share one thing you've personally done to make the hiring process more humane.
It doesn't have to be something extraordinary.
It could be:
Giving thoughtful feedback to a rejected candidate.
Spending extra time understanding someone's story.
Redesigning an interview process.
Admitting a hiring mistake and learning from it.
Anything that reflects the kind of recruiter you aspire to become.
If these questions excite you more than they intimidate you, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.
Please send your application with the subject:
