Role Overview
The Sales Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and driving business growth. This position bridges communication between the sales department, clients, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously to ensure seamless sales operations and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cold calls and follow up on leads to generate new business for manufacturing products
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections and steady cash flow
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling inquiries related to products, orders, and services
- Coordinate with clients on order confirmations, production timelines, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with the sales team to share customer feedback, demand trends, and market insights
- Liaise with production, dispatch, and inventory teams to ensure accurate order processing and on-time delivery
- Maintain and update CRM with customer details, order history, and communication records
- Prepare sales reports, order status updates, and performance summaries for management review
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, commerce, or related field is preferred
- Proven experience in sales support, customer service, or a related role (1-2 years preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and email management
- Experience with CRM software is preferred; willingness to learn new systems
- Basic understanding of chemical products or B2B sales processes is advantageous
