Role Purpose
To own and optimize SAP B1 operations and Management Information Systems (MIS) by ensuring accurate data, standardized processes, timely reporting, and actionable dashboards that support management decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities1. SAP System Ownership
- Act as internal functional owner of SAP B1
- Ensure smooth daily operations across all SAP modules
- Coordinate with SAP partners for technical fixes and enhancements
- Monitor system health, access controls, and compliance
2. Business Process Mapping & Optimization
- Map As-Is vs To-Be workflows for Sales, Purchase, Finance, Inventory, Production, and Service
- Eliminate manual reporting and parallel Excel systems
- Ensure processes are SAP-driven, auditable, and scalable
3. MIS & Management Reporting (Core Responsibility)
- Design, generate, and maintain daily / weekly / monthly MIS
- Build management dashboards covering:
- Sales pipeline & order status
- Production & job card tracking
- Inventory aging & slow-moving stock
- Costing, margins, and profitability
- Receivables, payables, and cash flow
- Ensure MIS accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery
- Support strategic reviews, audits, and board meetings
4. Data Governance & Controls
- Maintain master data integrity (Item master, BOM, Vendors, Customers, GLs)
- Define data entry standards and approval workflows
- Identify and correct data leakages, duplications, and posting errors
5. User Support, Training & Compliance
- Act as first-level SAP support for internal users
- Train users on correct transaction posting and report usage
- Develop and update SOPs, MIS definitions, and user manuals
- Monitor compliance with SAP and MIS processes
6. Automation, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Automate repetitive MIS and reports
- Implement alerts, controls, and exception reporting
- Support SAP add-ons, custom fields, and integrations
- Assist in system upgrades, testing, and enhancements
SAP Modules & Tools Exposure
- SAP B1 – Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Production, Service
- MIS Tools – SAP Queries, Crystal Reports, Excel, Power BI (preferred)
- Data Analysis – Pivot tables, dashboards, variance analysis
Skills & Competencies
- Strong SAP B1 functional & MIS reporting knowledge
- Excellent data analysis and business interpretation skills
- High accuracy, discipline, and ownership mindset
- Ability to translate raw data into decision-ready insights
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate in Commerce / Engineering / IT / Management
- 2–5 years experience in SAP B1 + MIS role
- Manufacturing / project-based industry experience preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹264,000.00 per year
