Job Purpose
Responsible for India Purchasing results encompassing AG & CE Plants, Parts and WMF working with different people responsible and multiple time zones.Key Activities include Monthly Closure , Budgeting and Forecasting , Vendor Tooling Management and Control, SG&A ControlEnsure adherence to SOX compliances for Capex and Standard Cost etc. Supplier evaluations and Supplier Risk Management. Responsible for supporting Statutory and Tax Audit and closure of Internal Audit Observations.Price change approvals in accordance with market trends/ indexation agreements and other factors like freight, energy etc. Active participation in cost reduction initiatives. Tracking, controlling, and accurate reporting of SSP and resourcing initiatives .System development and align reporting systems at par with other regions. Ensure system development based on regional requirements.Coordination of CBS activities for Material related savings
Key Responsibilities
Monthly Reporting: Review monthly performance by accurate assessment actions Implemented (In the Bag, ITB) and planned actions (Action Plan). Review performance against last planned scenario and previous month. Perform analysis for Raw Material, Non-Raw Material, Productivity etc. Supplier Level Assessment: Assess top 20 suppliers for each commodity for the Sub-region for overall impact (with break-down into RM, Non-RM, resourcing, LTA) and comparison with the prior month and last Budget/ Forecast. Ensure review of 80% spend for the Region. Support Make/Buy decisions, SSP/ resourcing initiatives
Price Changes: Timely evaluation of Price Increase/ Decrease Approvals along with Purchasing team. Ensure the key Supplier’s request are corroborated with Supplier’s financials. Raw Material Movements: Ensure Raw Material movement and the financial impacts are updated monthly. Ensure Price Increase/ decrease request for Raw Material is in accordance with RM movement. System Development: Align India data in line with global procedures and system (Qlik, GPP, Action Plan, PMRF). Utilization of system to ensure data accuracy and timely availability of data. Coordinate with central Purchasing and ICT team for enhancement of the system. Vendor Tooling: Track and review the spending and capitalisation. Review open advances and timely closure. Coordinate for Physical Verification. Review business cases and payback calculation. Compliances and Controls: Supplier evaluations by assessment of financial statement and monitor the ratings. Align Supplier Risk assessment to global tool and ensure all supplier rating are evaluated timely.
Experience Required
Should have 15+ years of experience in finance controlling preferably in Manufacturing/ Purchase domain
Should be able to demonstrate good teamwork with exposure to various operating functions.
Should be able to perform project/ investment evaluation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate ability to analyze, consolidate & interpret financial data.
Preferred Qualifications
CA/ ICWA/ MBA Finance (from reputed college)
