Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant for our chemical manufacturing company. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting operations, taxation, financial reporting, compliance, and experience in handling accounts related to manufacturing industries. Prior experience in the chemical industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in ERP/Tally/SAP systems.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Prepare and maintain purchase entries, sales invoices, journal entries, and ledger reconciliation.
- Manage GST filing, TDS deduction, TDS return filing, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Bank reconciliation and monitoring daily cash flow.
- Maintain vendor payment schedules and coordinate with suppliers regarding payments.
- Verify and process employee reimbursement, travel expenses, and petty cash records.
- Assist in preparation of balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and audit documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities for compliance matters.
- Monitor inventory accounting and cost accounting related to manufacturing operations.
- Maintain records of fixed assets, depreciation calculations, and capital expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal financial controls.
- Support management with MIS reporting and financial analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Financial Reporting
- Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF/ESIC compliance
- Knowledge of Tally ERP, SAP, MS Excel, ERP software
- Understanding of manufacturing accounting and inventory management
- Vendor management and payment processing
- Audit coordination and documentation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records
Educational Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4–6 years of accounting experience in chemical or manufacturing industry
- Experience handling statutory compliance and taxation independently
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
