About the Role
Curis Life, a growing multi-specialty healthcare clinic in Andheri West, Mumbai, is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, billing reconciliation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record and reconcile cash, bank, and online transactions.
- Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement records.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing.
- Coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, and management during audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
