Supervising workers – Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure work is done correctly
Ensuring safety – Enforce safety rules, provide protective equipment, and prevent accidents
Checking work quality – Make sure construction meets required standards and drawings
Managing materials – Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available when needed
Reporting progress – Update project managers or engineers on daily progress and issues
Coordinating teams – Work with engineers, contractors, and suppliers -Daily Tasks
Inspect the site before work starts
Brief workers about the day’s tasks
Monitor ongoing work throughout the day
Solve problems (delays, errors, shortages)
Keep records (attendance, work completed, incidents)
