Job description:
Backwater Club is a houseboat tourism company in Alleppey. We are looking for a Sales Executive to handle our guest enquiries.
About the work
We get enquiries every day from people planning a houseboat trip in Alleppey. Your job is to call them, understand what kind of trip they are looking for, send them the details and photos on WhatsApp, and get the booking confirmed.
These are people who have already contacted us and shown interest, so there is no cold calling and no field work. Your whole job is talking to interested guests and helping them book.
Work setup
This is a work from home job. You will need to come to our office in Alleppey one day a week. The rest of the week you work from home using your phone or laptop.
Working hours are 12 pm to 9 pm, six days a week, with one day off during the week. Since guests enquire most on weekends, the weekly off will be on a weekday and not Saturday or Sunday.
On your office day in Alleppey, timing will be 10 am to 4 pm and you can continue the work from home after.
What we are looking for
Good spoken English. You will speak with guests from across India and from other countries, so you must be comfortable holding a conversation in English on a call.
Someone who likes talking to people, and can stay patient and friendly on the phone.
Clear written English for sending details on WhatsApp.
You must be living in Alappuzha district, as you need to come to the office once a week.
Freshers are welcome. We will train you on our boats, packages and prices.
Salary
Rupees 8,000 per month.
