- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Refractory Application Services.
- Experience in kiln, furnace, boiler, ladle, or shutdown refractory work preferred.
Qualification:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Ceramic, Metallurgy, or related field.
- Experience in refractory application, kiln maintenance, or industrial shutdown projects preferred
Role Summary
The Refractory Application Services Engineer will be responsible for execution, supervision, and monitoring of refractory installation, maintenance, and shutdown activities at client sites. The candidate should have technical knowledge of refractory materials, kiln lining, and industrial furnace applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise refractory installation, repair, and maintenance work at plant sites.
- Handle kiln, furnace, ladle, boiler, and other refractory application activities.
- Ensure proper quality and safety standards during execution of work.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project completion.
- Monitor manpower deployment and site progress.
- Prepare daily work reports, shutdown reports, and material consumption reports.
- Inspect refractory lining conditions and suggest corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within target timelines.
- Support technical discussions and provide application-related solutions to clients.
- Maintain proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.
