Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant / Finance Executive to manage the Company's accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage financial records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure all financial transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Monitor sales, purchases, receivables, payables, expenses, and liabilities.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances, including timely filing of returns.
- Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Process vendor payments and reconcile vendor, customer, and bank accounts.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial analysis for management review.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial planning.
- Conduct periodic internal audits and identify discrepancies in financial records.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of invoices, vouchers, purchase orders, and financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor project-wise costs, budgets, and profitability.
- Assist management with financial reporting, investment decisions, and cost analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable financial regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prepare MIS reports and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
Educational Qualification
- B.Com. (Mandatory)
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- M.Com. or relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Finance Executive or CA Firm Experience.
- Experience in handling complete accounting functions and statutory compliances is preferred.
