Job Summary :-
The ETP Operator is responsible for the efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP). The role ensures that industrial wastewater is treated as per environmental regulations, pollution control board norms, and company standards before discharge or reuse.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Operate and monitor the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor pH, COD, BOD, TDS, TSS, DO, and other wastewater quality parameters.
- Ensure proper chemical dosing and maintain optimum treatment efficiency.
- Operate pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers, sludge handling systems, and dosing equipment.
- Record daily operational data, water analysis reports, and chemical consumption.
- Collect water samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain logbooks, shift reports, and statutory records.
- Carry out routine inspection and preventive maintenance of ETP equipment.
- Identify and report equipment breakdowns or abnormalities to the maintenance team.
- Ensure safe storage and handling of treatment chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the ETP area.
- Ensure compliance with Pollution Control Board norms, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments for smooth plant operations.
Required Qualifications:-
- ITI / Diploma / B.Sc. (Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
- Certification in ETP/STP Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience:-
- 1–3 years of experience in operating an ETP in a Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications may also be considered.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
