About the Role
We’re seeking a Salesforce Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. You’ll work across application development, integrations, and platform capabilities while leveraging AI tools (Salesforce Einstein, generative AI, Copilot) to boost development productivity and enhance solution design.
If you’re strong in Apex, Lightning, integrations, and comfortable using AI-augmented development, this role is for you.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, and platform capabilities
- Build reusable components and enforce consistent design patterns and coding standards
- Implement and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware
- Apply core platform principles: data modeling, security model, sharing model, and OOP concepts
- Use low-code capabilities (Flows, validation rules, etc.) alongside custom development where appropriate
- Leverage AI tools (Salesforce Einstein, Copilot) to accelerate development, analysis, and solutioning
- Drive code quality through refactoring, continuous improvement, and adherence to best practices
- Independently own implementation decisions and deliver with minimal supervision
- Collaborate in Agile teams, participate in scrum ceremonies, and contribute to technical discussions
- Utilize CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins) for efficient development and deployment processes

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture: data model, security model, sharing model, governor limits
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware)
- Proficiency in low-code tools: Flows, validation rules, process builder
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitHub, Jenkins, change sets
- Knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and clean code practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and own implementation decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein, generative AI, or Copilot tools
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred)
- Experience with DevOps practices and version control (Git)
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, SFDX CLI, and scratch orgs
