- Assess residents’ physical condition, mobility levels, and rehabilitation requirements.
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Conduct regular therapy sessions for residents including mobility, strengthening, balance, and pain management exercises.
- Monitor resident progress and maintain treatment records.
- Work closely with doctors, nursing teams, and care staff to support resident wellness.
- Provide post-operative and geriatric rehabilitation support where required.
- Educate residents and family members regarding exercise routines and preventive care.
- Identify changes in resident condition and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and care standards.
- Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT).
- Valid registration with the relevant council (if applicable).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Physiotherapy.
- Experience in Senior Living, Care Home, Rehabilitation Centre, Hospital, or Geriatric Care preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with elderly residents with empathy and patience.
