Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and passionate PHP Laravel Intern to join our development team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to build their backend development skills using the Laravel framework. The selected candidate will work on real-time web applications under the guidance of experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and the Laravel Framework.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards.
- Work with MySQL databases to design, develop, and optimize queries.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions.
- Learn and implement best practices in web development and software engineering.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of PHP and Laravel Framework.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL or any relational database.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and MVC architecture.
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, BCA, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Academic or personal projects using PHP/Laravel will be an added advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries/frameworks like jQuery or Vue.js is a plus.
- Basic understanding of web security concepts.
- Knowledge of deployment and hosting is an added advantage.
