Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that supports students' academic, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain effective classroom management using positive discipline strategies.
- Develop students' foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, and critical thinking.
Teaching & Learning
- Prepare weekly and daily lesson plans in accordance with the academic calendar.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate technology and interactive learning resources into classroom instruction.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment activities based on individual learning needs.
- Encourage inquiry-based, experiential, and collaborative learning.
Student Development
- Monitor students' academic, behavioural, emotional, and social progress.
- Instill discipline, values, etiquette, and good habits among students.
- Promote independence, responsibility, and confidence.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child throughout the school day.
Classroom Management
- Maintain an organized, clean, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Display student work and learning resources to create an engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Ensure classroom materials and teaching aids are properly maintained.
- Monitor student attendance and punctuality daily.
Assessment & Documentation
- Prepare and evaluate classwork, homework, projects, and assessments.
- Complete report cards, observation records, and other academic documentation accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain student portfolios and evidence of learning.
- Identify students requiring additional support and communicate concerns to the appropriate authorities.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, behaviour, and well-being.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide constructive feedback.
- Respond professionally and promptly to parent queries through approved communication channels.
School Responsibilities
- Participate in school assemblies, celebrations, events, field trips, competitions, and other school activities.
- Perform assigned duties such as morning, lunch, dispersal, examination, and event supervision.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development programmes, workshops, and training sessions.
- Collaborate effectively with coordinators, subject teachers, counsellors, and support staff.
Professional Conduct
- Adhere to school policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and school information.
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and ethical behaviour at all times.
- Dress appropriately and serve as a positive role model for students.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain all required classroom records and registers.
- Submit lesson plans, assessment data, reports, and other documentation within stipulated timelines.
- Ensure proper care of classroom assets and school property.
- Support school initiatives and administrative requirements as assigned by the Principal or Coordinator.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,237.24 per month
