Job Summary
The Warranty In Charge is responsible for managing and controlling all warranty-related activities, ensuring timely submission of warranty claims, compliance with OEM policies, and maximizing warranty recovery. The role involves coordinating with service teams, monitoring warranty performance, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end warranty claim processing and submission as per OEM guidelines.
- Verify warranty eligibility of vehicles, parts, and repair jobs.
- Review job cards, repair orders, and supporting documents before claim submission.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure proper warranty documentation.
- Monitor warranty claim approvals, rejections, and pending cases.
- Follow up with OEM representatives for claim settlements and reimbursements.
- Analyze warranty claim trends and identify recurring vehicle issues.
- Maintain warranty records, reports, and audit documents.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic warranty audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Train workshop staff on warranty processes and policy updates.
- Manage defective parts return processes as per OEM requirements.
- Prepare monthly warranty performance and recovery reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of OEM warranty policies and procedures.
- Understanding of automobile systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in automobile warranty operations.
- Experience working with dealership warranty management systems preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per hour
