A Maruti dealership Sales Trainer (often called an Internal Trainer) drives showroom performance by onboarding, training, and certifying sales executives for Arena and Nexa channels. They ensure the team masters Maruti’s product lineup, sales processes, and customer-handling standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Onboarding: Conduct comprehensive induction and onboarding programs for new Relationship Managers (RMs) and sales executives. [1, 2]
- Product Knowledge: Deliver in-depth training on Maruti vehicle specifications, variants, features, and pricing. [1]
- Sales Process & Etiquette: Train staff on Maruti’s standardized sales cycles, test drive protocols, and negotiation strategies. [1, 2]
- Soft Skills & Role-Plays: Improve customer-handling capabilities through active listening, body language coaching, and simulated customer role-plays. [1, 2]
- Performance Tracking: Monitor individual and showroom sales metrics, identify skill gaps, and provide targeted coaching. [1, 2]
- Certification Alignment: Prepare and groom dealership manpower for officialMaruti Suzuki Training Academy (MSTA) evaluations and certificationEssential Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Graduate, though a degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or an MBA is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of experience in sales training or automotive retail sales.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the passenger vehicle market, competitor analysis, and dealership operations.
- Skills: Strong public speaking, presentation design (PowerPoint), and data tracking abilities
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
