Job Summary
ManVision is seeking a skilled Electrician with practical experience in solar power systems, hybrid inverters, lithium battery systems, and electrical installation. The role involves installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and safe operation of residential and commercial solar-energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire, test, and commission solar panels, hybrid inverters, lithium batteries, charge controllers, and associated electrical equipment.
- Perform AC/DC cabling, earthing, circuit protection, load connections, and system integration.
- Configure hybrid inverters for solar, grid, generator, and battery operation.
- Install and maintain lithium battery banks, including BMS connections, battery communication cables, and safety protections.
- Diagnose and resolve faults in solar panels, inverters, batteries, breakers, cables, and monitoring systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of solar installations.
- Read electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Ensure installations comply with safety standards, site requirements, and applicable electrical regulations.
- Maintain service records, inspection reports, and material usage details.
- Coordinate with customers and project teams during installation and service visits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician, or a related trade qualification.
- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in solar or renewable-energy installations.
- Knowledge of hybrid inverter installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on knowledge of lithium battery systems, BMS, battery safety, and charging/discharging principles.
- Understanding of solar-panel mounting, DC wiring, AC distribution, earthing, surge protection, and MCB/MCCB systems.
- Ability to use electrical testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and continuity testers.
- Familiarity with electrical safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work at heights and travel to project sites when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with rooftop solar systems for residential, commercial, or industrial clients.
- Familiarity with remote inverter monitoring applications and Wi-Fi/GSM-enabled systems.
- Valid electrical licence or supervisory certification, where applicable.
- Valid driving licence.
