The Team
Forensic team provides advisory & support services to Deloitte members firms in performing a diverse nature of the forensic engagements. We work as an extension of our Deloitte member firms’ Forensic practices and provide dedicated support throughout the project lifecycle. Working on international assignments involving cross-border and cross-service line teams allows you to build your networks across the vast Global Deloitte network.
At Corporate Intelligence & Investigations (CII) team we provide customized solutions to mitigate reputational exposure to global corruption, financial crime, enterprise fraud, cybercrime, and other vulnerabilities by using various tools and resources.- The team has extensive experience of working with different geographies on projects related to forensic investigative research, various corporate intelligence tasks such as integrity due diligence or risk sensing or social media intelligence.
- We also provide business development support that may include drafting point of view or identification of potential business opportunities/trends in the market.
- At CII we conduct extensive fact-finding investigations, perform legal/case-law research, and draft memos (IRAC/legal).
- The team also has extensive experience in creating recurring mandates related to any regulatory/compliance updates, advancements in the field of electronic discovery, fraud allegations or tracking litigations on a company, etc.
Work you’ll do
A career within the Forensic practice will provide a wide & valuable experience in an exciting and dynamic working & learning environment. The role will position you to support various aspects of Corporate Intelligence & Investigations engagement which include the following activities:

Interpreting, analyzing and network analysis in relation to financial crime
-
Performing and conducting background checks and tracing assets, and wide variety of Forensic related work.

Preparing quality deliverables within agreed timeliness.

Assisting the senior members in project management and associated responsibilities.
As a Senior Executive, you will have the opportunity to be involved in diverse nature of engagements where you will:

Support Deloitte member firms across the globe in Corporate Intelligence & Investigations practice.
- Work and assist in managing various tasks related to any Corporate Intelligence; Forensic Investigations; Litigation & dispute support and investigative research related work.
- Assist in performing background checks, due diligence, KYC checks, and custodian interviews.
- Assist in drafting memos and research reports.
- Assist in creating newsletters/periodic updates, prepare presentations, etc.
- Assist in analyzing and summarize information from financial statements, industry reports, media articles, case law journals, etc.
- Assist with preparation of client proposals and the senior members of the team in administrative tasks in relation to project management.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and tough client conditions, which may require working for extended hours occasionally.

Ability to add value to complex and high-profile projects.

Demonstrate strong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.
Eligibility
Graduate/Postgraduate from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Business, Law or similar discipline.
CPA, CFE, ACAMS or any relevant certification will be an added advantage.
Skills Required

Good understanding of the Forensic investigation process and various Business Intelligence/Research tools such as Factiva, World-Check One, Bloomberg, Arachnys, Talkwalker, Quid, DB Hoovers, MCA, etc., would be an asset.
