Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Automation Tester with strong experience in automating Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining mobile automation frameworks, executing automated test suites, and collaborating closely with developers, QA teams, and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality mobile applications.
The candidate must possess strong knowledge of mobile testing concepts, automation tools, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and test case reviews.
- Ensure application quality across multiple mobile devices and OS versions.
- Maintain test execution reports and automation metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall QA processes.
- Support release validation and production sanity testing when required.
Required SkillsMobile Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Appium
- WebDriver IO
- Playwright
- Experience in Android and iOS application testing.
- Knowledge of real devices and emulators/simulators.
Programming Languages
Experience in at least one:
- Java
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Python
Testing Knowledge
- Mobile application testing lifecycle
- Regression testing
- API testing basics
- Cross-platform mobile testing
- Debugging and log analysis
Frameworks & Tools
Experience with:
- TestNG / JUnit / Mocha
- Playwright, Selenium, Appium, WebDriver IO, etc.
- Maven / Gradle / npm
- Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
- Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps
CI/CD & Reporting
- CI/CD integration experience
- Test reporting tools such as:
- Allure
- Extent Reports
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud device farms.
- Experience in hybrid mobile app testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Exposure to accessibility testing for mobile applications.
Pay: Up to ₹900,000.00 per year
