Job Summary:
The Paralegal will support the legal and compliance functions of the manufacturing unit by assisting
in contract management, regulatory compliance, liaison with authorities, and coordination with
external legal advisors. The role requires strong organizational skills, legal understanding, and the
ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agreement Management
Draft, review, and vet various agreements including:
o Vendor & supplier contracts
o Purchase and service agreements
o Lease and property-related agreements
o NDAs and business contracts
Ensure agreements are legally sound and aligned with company policies
Maintain proper documentation and contract repository
2. Legal Drafting & Documentation
Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, and internal documentation
Prepare summaries of legal documents for management review
Maintain records of all legal correspondences
3. Liaisoning with Authorities
Coordinate and liaise with government departments and regulatory authorities such as:
o Factory Inspectorate
o Pollution Control Board
o Labour Department
o GST and other statutory bodies
Follow up on approvals, registrations, and licenses
4. Compliance Management
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws including:
o Companies Act
o Labour laws
o Environmental laws
o Factory Act and other industry-specific regulations
Maintain compliance trackers and ensure timely filings
Support internal and external audits
5. Coordination with External Lawyers & Consultants
Act as a point of contact for external legal counsel and consultants
Share required documents and information for ongoing cases or advisory matters
Track progress of legal matters and maintain case records
6. Litigation & Dispute Support
Assist in handling ongoing litigation matters
Maintain case files, hearing schedules, and documentation
Coordinate with advocates for timely submissions
7. General Legal Support
Provide legal research and updates on regulatory changes
Support management in risk assessment and legal decision-making
Assist in policy drafting and internal governance frameworks
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of contracts and legal documentation
Knowledge of Indian corporate, labour, and industrial laws
Excellent drafting and communication skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Qualifications:
LLB / Legal qualification (preferred)
0-2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / corporate environment
Experience in handling compliance and contract management
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in manufacturing or industrial setup
Familiarity with regulatory authorities and approval processes
Proactive and solution-oriented approach
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
