We are looking for a proactive Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations and ensure efficient, cost-effective supply chain management for our construction projects. The role demands strong negotiation skills, financial discipline, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities -
Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure favorable terms.
- Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
Procurement Operations
- Manage the complete procurement cycle, from requisition to purchase order.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services aligned with project schedules.
- Forecast purchasing needs based on project requirements.
Cost & Budget Control
- Monitor procurement spending to stay within budget.
- Conduct cost analysis and implement savings strategies.
Quality & Compliance
- Enforce quality standards for all purchased materials and services.
- Perform quality checks on incoming supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Inventory & Logistics
- Track inventory levels and forecast demand with project teams.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for efficient material handling.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on procurement KPIs and expenditures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and finance to align purchasing with business goals.
Issue Resolution
- Address supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and vendor disputes promptly.
