Position: Cath Lab Staff Nurse
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and cardiac catheterization.
- Prepare patients before procedures, including assessment, consent verification, and patient education.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, and hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Administer medications, contrast agents, and emergency drugs as prescribed.
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control practices in the Cath Lab.
- Prepare, handle, and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
- Assist in emergency situations, including cardiac arrest and resuscitation procedures.
- Provide post-procedure care and monitor patients for complications.
- Document nursing assessments, procedures, medications, and patient responses accurately.
- Coordinate with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for seamless patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and quality protocols.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM Nursing
- Valid nursing registration
- Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
Skills Required
- Knowledge of cardiac procedures and equipment
- ECG interpretation skills
- Critical care and emergency response abilities
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
