Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative interior design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with clients and project teams, and ensuring smooth execution of projects. The role requires strong design visualization skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, and the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.
Freshers with strong design skills and candidates with up to 2 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Modify and update drawings based on design revisions and project requirements.
- Create professional presentations, mood boards, and plant/design decks using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and project managers to gather design inputs.
- Participate in client meetings, understand requirements, and assist in presenting design proposals.
- Assist in preparing project BOQs, quotations, and design documentation.
- Maintain drawing revisions, project records, and documentation in an organized manner.
- Support the design team in ensuring timely project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Civil Engineering, or any related design field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Good visual presentation and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of design drawings and construction details.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge or exposure to landscape design, planting, or biophilic design is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, SketchUp, or other design software will be an added advantage.
Qualifications & Skills
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years in architecture, interior design, landscape, civil, or related design fields.
- Experience preparing technical drawings and client presentations.
- Exposure to client interaction and project coordination is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
