Role Overview:
Seeking a dynamic, results-driven Manager Sourcing to join our team in Mumbai. This position requires an individual with deep expertise in managing third-party suppliers, sourcing, packaging, product promotion, and vendor coordination in the consumer care and foods business. The Manager Sourcing will be responsible for overseeing the entire sourcing process across for Personal Care segment ensuring smooth operations, cost efficiency, and timely product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal Care Business:
1. Managing 3P (Third-Party) Relationships:
o Oversee third-party suppliers for the Personal Care business, with a primary focus on conversion cost, timely supply of Finished Goods (FG), and the movement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) to factories.
o Actively manage five 3P suppliers for the supply of Personal Care, Home Care, and Baby Care products. Ensure the full and final settlement of accounts and closure of inactive 3P suppliers.
2. Evaluation, Negotiation, and Promotion Offers:
o Lead the evaluation and negotiation processes for promotional offers for Personal Care products
3. Import Management:
o Manage the import Products from Malaysia and Vietnam. Oversee the transition and ensure smooth operations during the import process.
4. Packaging Sourcing and Coordination: o Lead the sourcing of packaging options and designs in line with the requirements set by the brand team.
5. 3P Evaluation for New Product Introduction (NPI):
o Conduct 3P evaluations and coordinate with R&D for the smooth transition of new products to 3P. Finalize contracts and manufacturing terms for new products.
6. Regulatory Compliance (CDSCO Registration):
o Oversee the CDSCO registration process for cosmetics products to ensure compliance for importation into India.
7. Promo Offer Sourcing and Payments:
o Manage sourcing of PM for promotional offers, ensuring smooth procurement and timely payment execution.
8. E-commerce Packaging Solutions:
o Develop e-commerce specific SKU packaging solutions and offer packaging for online retail.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications:
o B.Tech (Engineering) degree required.
Experience:
o A minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing, third-party supplier management, and production coordination in the consumer care, packaging, and/or foods industry.
o Proven track record in managing third-party manufacturers and suppliers, especially in the Personal Care segments.
Technical Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of supply chain management, packaging sourcing, regulatory requirements (CDSCO), and product registration for importation.
o Knowledge of sourcing packaging materials and technical support for e-commerce packaging solutions.
Communication & Negotiation Skills:
o Strong negotiation skills for vendor and supplier agreements.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Geographic Knowledge:
o Experience in managing regional sourcing and supply operations across SAARC countries (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh).
Software Proficiency:
o Familiarity with relevant sourcing, supply chain, and procurement software tools.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
