The candidate will assist the faculty in their ongoing research work which includes reviewing and assimilating key research ideas in an area, literature reviews, acquiring and analysing large high-frequency data sets and interpreting and presenting such analyses. The position is best suited for a candidate with an interest in pursuing a PhD in leading business schools worldwide.
You should consider yourself a good fit for this position if you are an experienced, highly motivated professional with a very good under-graduate or graduate academic record, and significant experience in analytics of large datasets using leading edge methods. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate broad knowledge of core NLP tasks, like tagging, syntactic and semantic parsing, named entity recognition, user intent understanding algorithms etc. Implementation experience and programming skills will also be given weight. The position presupposes a graduate degree or equivalent in Natural Language Processing or in Computer Science with a clearly NLP-based thesis.
