Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Partner with the CEO to develop long-term financial objectives, drive growth plans, and optimize capital structure.
- Financial Reporting & Accounting: Supervise the accounting department to produce accurate income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks, such as market volatility and currency fluctuations. Implement effective internal financial controls.
- Stakeholder Relations: Manage communications and negotiations with banks, investors, auditors, and tax authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Certifications: Professional credentials such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are highly preferred.
- Experience: Typically 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, financial analysis, or public accounting.
