Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Construction Accountant to manage project accounting, job costing, contractor billing, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance for construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate should have experience in handling project-wise accounts, cost control, GST, TDS, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project-wise accounting records and ledgers.
- Handle Job Costing, Cost Analysis, and Budget Monitoring.
- Verify contractor, subcontractor, and supplier bills.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare RA Bills, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Project Invoices.
- Monitor project budgets and actual expenditures.
- Maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) and project profitability reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and project accounts.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, consultants, and government departments.
- Monitor project cash flow and fund utilization.
- Support tender costing, estimation, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Experience in Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Income Tax.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy, ERP, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS Reports).
- Knowledge of Project Costing and Contractor Billing.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Civil Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, or Real Estate Projects.
- Handling multiple project accounts simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Tender Accounting and Cost Control Systems.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
