Job Description – MEP Engineer (Construction Field)
Position: MEP Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and execute MEP works at construction site as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other project teams for MEP activities.
- Review MEP drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
- Monitor installation works related to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & ELV systems.
- Check quality of materials, installation, and workmanship.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly MEP reports.
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at site.
Requirements:
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in MEP works in building construction.
- Good knowledge of MEP drawings and site execution.
- Experience in coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- AutoCAD knowledge.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Fighting systems.
- Ability to manage site activities independently.
