Accounts Manager - Roles and Responsibilities.
Salary Processing:
- Accurately calculate and process employee salaries on a timely basis.
- Ensure salary payments are made via bank transfer or other methods as applicable.

Marking Leaves and Maintaining Muster Roll:
- Track employee attendance and leave records.
- Approve and maintain detailed leave records, including sick leave, vacation, and other types of leave.
- Regularly update and maintain the muster roll for compliance and auditing purposes.
Sending Offer Letters:
- Prepare and send offer letters to new employees, clearly outlining roles, salary, benefits, and terms of employment.
Maintaining Petty Cash:
- Manage petty cash fund for routine operational expenses.
- Ensure proper documentation of receipts and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions regularly to ensure accurate records.
Depositing in Banks:
- Oversee daily deposits of cash into the resort’s designated bank accounts.
- Monitor the resort's bank accounts for sufficient funds to ensure operational continuity.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in the resort’s accounting system.
GST Filing and Compliance:
- Prepare and file GST returns in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all local tax laws.
- Maintain records of GST payments, and ensure proper input and output tax documentation.
- Regularly update and monitor GST-related transactions in the accounting system to ensure proper reporting.
Profit and Loss Management:
- Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements, reviewing and analyzing financial performance.
- Monitor revenue and expenses to ensure the resort is operating efficiently and profitably.
- Identify areas for cost reduction or improvement to enhance profitability.
Tally Software Expertise:
- Use Tally ERP for all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Tally for all transactions, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
- Generate financial statements and reports from Tally, ensuring they are aligned with accounting standards and internal policies.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare detailed monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and P&L reports.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to the management for decision-making.
Tax Compliance and Returns:
- Ensure timely filing of income tax returns, VAT returns, and any other statutory payments.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and ensure the resort’s financial practices remain compliant with local regulations.
Vendor and Supplier Payments:
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and payments.
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers where applicable to optimize cash flow.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure the resort's financial records match with bank statements.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies between bank records and internal financial records.
Expense Monitoring and Budgeting:
- Monitor departmental expenses and compare them to the allocated budget.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure expenses are controlled and stay within budget.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding cost optimization and budget adjustments.
This role requires proficiency in accounting software like Tally, a solid understanding of GST compliance, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations effectively, all while maintaining an eye on profitability and cost control.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
