Job Summary:
The hotel receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a positive impression. This role involves handling reservations, greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing excellent customer service throughout the guest’s stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of bookings and payments
- Process payments, invoices, and billing information
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
Requirements & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality qualification is a plus)
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Working Conditions:
