Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Executive to manage and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, vendor coordination, logistics, and timely availability of materials. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, negotiation, planning, and team-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end supply chain operations from procurement to delivery.
- Plan and monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted availability of materials.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, logistics partners, and internal departments.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors.
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times, and pending supplies.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials based on business requirements.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize excess/obsolete stock.
- Track and analyze supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor warehouse and logistics operations for efficient material movement.
- Resolve supplier, delivery, quality, and material-related issues.
- Prepare MIS reports on procurement, inventory, vendors, and supply chain performance.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory, procurement, delivery, and supplier performance.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Stores, Procurement, and other departments.
- Lead and manage the supply chain team and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Logistics.
- Vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Supply Chain Management software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and priorities.
- Strong planning, decision-making, and team-management skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management or Operations will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, laboratory, medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, or a similar industry will be preferred.
