Production Engineer Job Description:
Ø To be capable of understanding the machine operations through manuals.
Ø Perform root cause analyses and prepare technical reports with actionable improvement plans.
Ø Create and maintain SOPs, manuals, and training materials to standardize procedures and knowledge sharing.
Ø Implement 5S, visual management, and TPM practices in work areas to improve safety and operational clarity.
Ø Operate and monitor roasting machinery, ensuring safety compliance and optimal performance parameters.
Ø Oversee routine maintenance of roasting equipment to ensure efficiency and product consistency.
Ø Improve production quality and reduce downtime through machine optimization and process adherence.
Ø Manage equipment data records for audit readiness and performance monitoring.
Ø Analyze production trends to identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven process improvements.
Ø Enforce standardized best practices to enhance safety, consistency, and operational performance.
Ø Implement 5S and visual management systems in work areas to improve safety and operational clarity.
Ø Take new equipment trials, ensuring smooth integration with existing production processes, including PLC/HMI interfacing and parameter standardization.
Ø Lead small-scale Kaizen initiatives to identify process bottlenecks and enhance line throughput.
Ø Perform root cause analyses (RCA) using 5-Why, Fishbone diagram, prepare technical reports with actionable improvement plans
Ø Oversee routine and preventive maintenance schedules, including lubrication, alignment, and calibration of roasting equipment, to ensure efficiency and product consistency.
Ø Operate and monitor roasting machinery and process control systems (temperature, airflow, feed rates) ensuring compliance with safety and performance parameters.
Ø To plan and execute internal projects related Equipments.
Ø Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for equipment upgrades, spare part optimization, and technical audits.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
