2. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development in the Defense &
Aerospace, Automobile & Wind energy sector, with a focus on Non-Destructive Testing
(NDT) solutions. The ideal candidate should have 7+ years of sales experience and a strong
understanding of NDT techniques such as UT, ECT & RT

4. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities (Indicate 4-8 Key Deliverable for this position)
Strategic Planning & Market Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting the Aerospace, Wind
energy & Defence sectors across PAN India.
Generate sales of X-ray systems from Automobile, Aviation and Defense sectors in Southern
region
Identify key business opportunities and set actionable plans to expand market presence and
increase sales.
Collaborate with internal teams to align business goals and ensure the strategy is
consistently followed
Lead Generation & Opportunity Management:
Work closely with the team to identify and generate leads within the Aerospace, Wind
energy, Automobile & Defence industry.
Maintain and manage a healthy opportunity funnel, ensuring a steady flow of business
leads.
Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the sector to
drive sustainable business growth.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with the PAN India team to execute sales strategies, track progress, and
optimize performance.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, focusing on understanding their
needs and delivering tailored NDT solutions.
Regularly visit key clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and identify new business
opportunities.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
Prepare regular sales reports, forecast future business needs, and track progress towards
set targets.
Utilize CRM tools to document interactions, monitor sales pipeline, and analyse market
trends.
5. Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve a Booking VA as per the set target
- Adhere to payment Terms and faster/ Timely collection
- Generate and monitor the sales funnel
- Work on the strategic initiatives
- Timely submission of weekly and monthly report

7. KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (Technical & Behavioral)
a. TECHNICAL
- 7+ years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in the
Aerospace, Wind energy, Automobile & Defence industry
- Strong technical knowledge in NDT techniques (Ultrasonic,
Eddy Current & Radiography).
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies that
drive results.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel across PAN India to meet clients and
attend industry events.
