Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Facility Assistant Manager Trainee to support the day-to-day operations of our pet warehouse and retail store. The trainee will assist in inventory management, warehouse operations, facility maintenance, stock handling, vendor coordination, and customer service while learning overall store and facility management.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
- Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing pet products and supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy.
- Support stock replenishment and inventory audits.
- Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners for timely deliveries.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of products.
Facility Management
- Support the maintenance and cleanliness of the warehouse and store premises.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs when required.
- Monitor security procedures and facility access.
Store Operations
- Assist in managing daily retail store activities.
- Ensure products are displayed properly and shelves are adequately stocked.
- Support customer service activities and address customer inquiries.
- Help manage promotional activities and store events.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
- Support management in implementing operational policies and procedures.
