Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Apparel Designer who can own the end-to-end garment design process — from concept to production — while working closely with production, marketing, sales, and marketplace teams.
This role goes beyond pure creativity. It requires commercial thinking, speed, collaboration, and accountability.
You will be responsible for shaping collections that are on-trend, brand-aligned, production-feasible, and market-ready.

- End-to-end design ownership: concept → sampling → production handover
- Design women’s fusion ethnic wear that is trend-led + commercially scalable
- Translate business goals into fast, market-ready collections
- Work closely with production, marketing, sales & marketplaces
- Drive speed, consistency, and quality across collections

Must-Have Skills/Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or related field
- Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Flats, tech packs, sampling coordination
- Fabric & garment construction knowledge

Key Responsibilities
Design & Product Development
- Lead the design and development of women’s fusion ethnic wear collections
- Translate brand vision and seasonal direction into commercially viable designs
- Create detailed sketches, flats, and tech packs ready for production
- Develop capsule collections, trend drops, and seasonal ranges at speed
- Ensure consistency in design language across collections
Trend & Market Intelligence
- Conduct continuous trend research (silhouettes, colors, fabrics, prints, embellishments)
- Study marketplace trends, best-sellers, and consumer feedback
- Adapt global and Indian trends into Kanha Impex’s brand DNA
- Design with channel context in mind (marketplaces, website, campaigns)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Production: fabrics, sampling, fitting, costing, timelines
- Marketing: campaigns, photoshoots, storytelling
- Sales & Marketplaces: design feedback, performance insights
- Leadership: planning, prioritization, and strategic direction
- Participate in fit trials and iteration cycles
- Respond quickly to internal and market feedback
Execution, Speed & Ownership
- Manage multiple design timelines simultaneously
- Drive fast design iterations without compromising quality
- Balance creativity with cost, fabric availability, and production constraints
- Own designs from concept to final approved sample
- Maintain design documentation and version control
Mentorship & Process Building
- Guide and mentor junior designers (if applicable)
- Improve internal design workflows and standards
- Help build scalable, repeatable design systems
Required Experience & Qualifications
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
