Job Summary:
The Security Training Manager is responsible for planning, conducting, and monitoring training programs for security personnel. The role ensures all security guards, supervisors, and field officers are trained in security procedures, safety standards, customer service, emergency response, and legal compliance to maintain high service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs for security guards, supervisors, and field officers.
- Conduct induction training for newly recruited employees.
- Deliver refresher training and periodic skill development sessions.
- Train employees on:
- Security procedures and access control
- Fire safety and emergency evacuation
- First Aid and CPR (basic awareness)
- Incident reporting and documentation
- Customer service and communication skills
- Grooming and discipline
- CCTV monitoring and surveillance
- Patrolling techniques
- Industrial, residential, and commercial security practices
- Conduct practical drills and mock emergency exercises.
- Assess trainee performance through written tests and practical evaluations.
- Maintain training records, attendance, certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations, HR, and clients to identify training requirements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company SOPs.
- Visit client sites to conduct on-site training and quality inspections.
- Recommend improvements in security operations based on audit findings.
- Mentor supervisors and field officers to enhance leadership skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Certification in Security Management, Fire & Safety, or Industrial Safety is an advantage.
- Ex-Defence, Ex-Police, or Paramilitary personnel preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the security industry.
- At least 2–3 years in a training or leadership role.
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Knowledge of private security operations and SOPs.
- Familiarity with fire safety, emergency response, and risk management.
- Ability to prepare training materials, manuals, and reports.
- Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of employees trained per month.
- Training completion and certification rate.
- Reduction in security incidents due to effective training.
- Client satisfaction with security personnel performance.
- Compliance with training schedules and statutory requirements.
- Improvement in audit and inspection scores.
Working Conditions:
- Office and field-based role.
- Frequent travel to client locations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during emergencies or special training programs.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
