Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Your typical day involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, overseeing the development process, and ensuring that solutions align with business needs. You will coordinate activities to maintain project momentum, troubleshoot challenges as they arise, and provide guidance to team members to achieve successful delivery. This role requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and fostering effective communication across teams to drive project success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by managing development schedules and priorities.
- Assist junior team members by providing mentorship and technical guidance to support their growth.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Core Integrations.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core Integrations.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software configuration techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within integration environments.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices for quality assurance.
- Experience in collaborating with diverse teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Studio.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required. Preferred to have Workday related Certification.
