Job Title: Academic Mentor – Hosteller
Location: Kottayam, Kerala
Job Summary
We are looking for an Academic Mentor – Hosteller for our Kottayam Hybrid Centre to guide and support our hostel students. You will help bridge the gap between their online classes and daily hostel study schedules, making sure students stay disciplined, motivated, and on top of their studies.
What You Will Do
- Study & Prep Supervision: Guide students through their hybrid timetables, supervise mandatory evening study hours (prep time), and ensure they stay active in both online modules and offline classes.
- Track Academic Progress: Keep an eye on student activity on digital learning platforms, track assignment submissions, check test marks, and monitor overall learning progress.
- Guide & Mentor Students: Help students settle into hostel life, manage screen time, deal with exam stress, and maintain a positive, distraction-free environment.
- Parent Communication: Keep parents updated regularly on their child’s academic progress, hostel attendance, daily discipline, and overall well-being.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Kottayam hybrid centre team, online/offline teachers, and hostel wardens to align study schedules and fix any timetable issues.
- Reporting & Records: Keep clear and accurate records of student attendance, mentoring notes, and academic reports.
- Student Engagement: Lead group study sessions, help with basic doubt-clearing, and run engaging activities for students in the hostel.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduation (Bachelor's degree in any subject).
- Experience: 0 to 3 years in academic mentoring, teaching, online/hybrid learning support, or hostel student management.
- Freshers: Energetic freshers with good communication skills and comfort with technology are welcome to apply!
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kottayam, Kerala (Kottayam): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
