We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially aware Accountant to manage end-to-end finance and compliance across all business verticals.
You will own the accounting function, drive financial discipline, and provide real-time insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records across all business lines.
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, collections, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, cash-flow statements, and financial reports for the owner.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, income-tax, and other statutory compliance and filings.
- Track inventory-linked accounting, product costing, and margin analysis across channels.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment schedules to maintain financial discipline.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning directly with the owner.
- Coordinate with external CA, auditors, and consultants for filings and audits.
- Oversee payroll processing, reimbursements, and expense management.
- Build and improve financial systems, dashboards, and controls to support business growth.
Ideal Candidate
- 4–8+ years experience in accounting/finance
- Experience working in founder-led or SME business preferred
- Retail, fashion, D2C, or product business experience is a strong plus
- Strong knowledge of GST & Indian compliance
- Comfortable working independently (no large team)
- High ownership mindset and confidentiality
- Excellent in Excel and accounting software
