About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow SPM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions for large-scale enterprise clients. This role is pivotal in driving portfolio transformation, financial governance, and value realization across IT and business investments.
The ideal candidate will function as a trusted advisor to client leadership and executive stakeholders, ensuring that all solutions align with global delivery frameworks, integration standards, and enterprise architecture models.
What You Will Do
Solution Architecture & Strategy
Own the end-to-end SPM solution architecture across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, and Financial Planning & Cost Governance.
Define future-state architecture and transformation roadmaps for Agile & Hybrid Delivery models.
Align ServiceNow SPM with enterprise architecture and industry-standard reference models.
Client Engagement & Advisory
Act as the primary interface and trusted advisor for CXO/VP-level stakeholders.
Provide strategic guidance on portfolio prioritization frameworks, investment optimization (CapEx vs. OpEx), and the demand-to-delivery lifecycle.
Lead design workshops and value realization discussions.
Implementation & Delivery Leadership
Lead end-to-end SPM implementation programs within established delivery governance frameworks.
Ensure strict alignment with SoW commitments, delivery timelines, milestones, and quality assurance standards.
Drive Agile/SAFe-based execution models seamlessly integrated with SPM.
Integration & Enterprise Alignment
Architect robust integrations with ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle Finance), Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps), and enterprise data platforms.
Define data governance, synchronization, and reporting models to ensure seamless integration into the broader ITSM/ITOM ecosystem.
Governance & Best Practices
Establish comprehensive SPM governance frameworks.
Define portfolio KPIs, executive dashboards, investment stage gates, and demand intake workflows.
Drive continuous improvement and maturity evolution across client portfolios.
Managed Services & Transition
Support the transition to a steady-state support model.
Define runbooks, SLA/KPI frameworks, and operational governance.
Enable knowledge transfer to L2/L3 support teams to ensure stability, scalability, and performance optimization.
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory Experience
10-15 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years specifically in ServiceNow architecture.
Strong expertise in end-to-end ServiceNow SPM (PPM) module implementation.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise transformations.
Substantial experience in client-facing roles within a global System Integrator (SI) environment.
Technical Expertise
Platform Capabilities: Deep knowledge of SPM / PPM modules, Flow Designer, Business Rules, and Script Includes.
Integrations: Extensive experience with REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server setup.
Analytics & Financials: Hands-on experience with Performance Analytics, executive dashboards, and financial planning/cost modeling frameworks.
