Job Summary : Cloud Security Engineer
Job Description : Identifying and recommending security best practices and improvements across cloud environments and engineering processes.\\\\r\\\\n- Reviewing product and solution designs to identify security flaws, gaps, and vulnerabilities and providing guidance on remediation and secure-by-design principles.\\\\r\\\\n- Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, with a primary focus on Azure and GCP.\\\\r\\\\n- Ensuring secure design and implementation of APIs, interfaces and integrations across platforms.\\\\r\\\\n- Supporting engineering teams in adopting security best practices and secure development practices.\\\\r\\\\n- Managing and driving remediation of cloud vulnerabilities to continuously improve the security posture.\\\\r\\\\n- Collaborating with stakeholders across engineering and cyber teams to align on security requirements and priorities.\\\\r\\\\n- Tracking security activities, deliverables, and risks using Jira.\\\\r\\\\n- Promoting secure-by-design principles and continuously driving improvements in cloud security practices.\\\\r\\\\n- Implementing and guiding teams on GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and secure coding practices.
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities : The consultant will ensure the implementation of cloud security best practices across Azure and GCP environments, proactively manage and remediate vulnerabilities and continuously drive security improvements to strengthen the overall security posture.
Skill Requirements
Strong expertise in cloud security (Azure and GCP). - Experience in secure-by-design, DevSecOps and vulnerability management. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS). - Understanding of API and application security. - Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
