About the Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Operator to join our modular furniture manufacturing unit in Sulur, Tamil Nadu. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines for cutting and processing MDF, plywood, particle board, and other panel materials used in modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC router machines for furniture and panel processing.
- Read production drawings, cutting plans, and nesting layouts.
- Set up tools, machine parameters, and workpieces before production.
- Load and execute CNC programs accurately.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Perform drilling, grooving, cutting, and nesting operations.
- Conduct quality checks on finished components.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize machine utilization.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
- Follow factory safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience operating CNC routers in furniture, woodworking, modular kitchen, wardrobe, or interior manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production layouts.
- Knowledge of nesting and panel-processing operations.
- Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine troubleshooting.
- ITI/Diploma preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with nesting software and production optimization.
- Familiarity with woodworking CNC machines.
- Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
Pay: ₹9,165.71 - ₹30,400.20 per month
