We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who specializes in custom theme development and plugin creation. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to deliver high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly WordPress solutions tailored to our client or product needs.
Key Responsibilities

Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch based on design mockups (Figma, XD, PSD, etc.)

Build, extend, and maintain custom WordPress plugins

Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness

Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress environments

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in custom builds

Maintain clean, well-documented, and reusable code

Stay updated with the latest WordPress core updates, security practices, and plugin trends

Collaborate with designers, content managers, and backend developers to bring projects to life
Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience

Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

In-depth knowledge of the WordPress Codex, theme hierarchy, and plugin architecture

Experience developing custom themes

Experience creating custom plugins and modifying existing ones

Experience with REST APIs, AJAX, and WordPress Hooks & Filters
