Required Technical Skills
Endpoint Management: 8+ years in EUS, with at least 5 years in a Lead capacity.
- Core Tools: Expert-level knowledge of ManageEngine Endpoint Central (formerly Desktop Central) and Nexthink.
- Platform Mastery: In-depth administration of both Windows (Active Directory/GPO) and macOS (JAMF or ManageEngine MDM).
- Packaging: Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash for automating complex software deployments.
- Security: Strong understanding of endpoint security (BitLocker, FileVault, and Vulnerability Remediation).
1. Endpoint Strategy & Governance
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the global endpoint management strategy covering Windows (10/11) and macOS (Sequa/Taho).
- Standardize Operating System Deployment (OSD) processes, using MDT.
- Define and enforce hardware/software standards across the organization.
2. Engineering & Automation (ManageEngine focus)
- Administration: Advanced configuration and maintenance of ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
- Patch Management: Design and oversee automated patching schedules for OS and 3rd-party applications to meet security SLAs.
- Software Distribution: Lead the Application Packaging lifecycle (MSI, EXE, DMG, PKG) and manage the enterprise Self-Service Portal.
- OS Deployment: Create and maintain "Gold Images" or provisioning profiles for various hardware models.
3. Digital Experience & Analytics (Nexthink focus)
- Utilize Nexthink to proactively monitor endpoint health and identify "silent" issues before they impact users.
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for systemic performance issues using Nexthink’s real-time analytics.
- Design and deploy Nexthink Campaigns to gather employee feedback and automate remediation via Nexthink Remote Actions.
4. Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead a team of EUS engineers, providing technical mentorship and performance management.
- Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues (L 1.5/L 3 support).
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure licensing compliance for all managed software.
