Building Design Architect
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and technically strong Building Design Architect to develop thoughtful, functional, and visually compelling architectural solutions. The role will involve concept design, design development, preparation and review of drawings, consultant coordination, client interaction, and supporting projects through approval and construction stages.
The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibility with practical knowledge of building systems, materials, codes, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, layouts, massing studies, and design presentations based on project requirements.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, details, and design documentation.
- Translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically appropriate design solutions.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, façade, and other project consultants.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building regulations, development controls, fire and life-safety requirements, accessibility standards, and local approval requirements.
- Conduct site visits, review site conditions, and support resolution of design-related issues during construction.
- Review materials, finishes, specifications, samples, and shop drawings for alignment with the approved design intent.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, consultant coordination meetings, and project presentations.
- Support preparation of authority submissions and approval documentation.
- Monitor design deliverables, timelines, and coordination requirements across project stages.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to maintain design quality through execution.
- Contribute to design research, material exploration, sustainability initiatives, and internal design standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Professional registration or architectural license where required by local regulations.
- Approximately 4–8 years of relevant architectural design experience; this can be adjusted based on the seniority of the role.
- Experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, institutional, mixed-use, or similar building projects.
- Strong understanding of architectural design development, construction documentation, and building detailing.
- Working knowledge of building codes, approval processes, construction methods, materials, and building systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit/BIM.
- Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or similar 3D design software.
- Proficiency in presentation and visualization tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Enscape, Lumion, or equivalent.
- Ability to produce and review coordinated architectural drawing packages.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project workflows is preferred.

- Strong architectural portfolio demonstrating design thinking, technical capability, and completed project work.

Pay: ₹11,935.10 - ₹52,204.69 per month
