Job Description – Draughtsman
We are looking for a Draughtsman for deployment at Angus Works to support the Drawing Office in preparing, modifying, and maintaining engineering drawings for various projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical drafting practices and relevant design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise engineering and fabrication drawings as per project requirements.
- Develop detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and documentation.
- Coordinate with design and engineering teams for drawing updates and modifications.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable standards.
- Maintain drawing records and documentation in an organized manner.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- B.E. (Mechanical) with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering drawing and drafting activities.
- Experience in a design house or engineering consultancy will be preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software is desirable.
Location: Angus Works, Hooghly
Contract: One-year tenure (extendable till project completion based on performance)
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
