PIE Builders & Developers is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings for residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of architectural drafting standards, building plans, and construction details.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
- Convert design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Revise drawings based on architect and client feedback.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes and standards.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
- Assist in preparing submission drawings and working drawings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction detailing.
- Ability to interpret design sketches and convert them into technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other BIM software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial building projects.
- Basic understanding of structural and MEP drawings.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in architectural drafting is preferred.
